The Student Ambassador Programme is a vibrant team of University of Central Lancashire students who support key events and projects across the university. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop your employability skills, and earn money – all while making a real impact on student life.
As a Student Ambassador, you’ll represent your course, faculty, and the wider University of Central Lancashire community at events such as:
- Welcome Week
- UCAS fairs
- UK University Search fairs
- On-campus and virtual events
- Campus tours
- Faculty-led activities
- School and college outreach visits
Who Can Apply?
We’re looking for students who are:
- Enthusiastic and reliable
- Team players with strong communication skills
- Passionate about inspiring others
Whether you're in your first, second, or final year, or studying a postgraduate course, you are welcome to apply.

What Happens Next
- When opportunities arise, we contact all registered ambassadors. Roles are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- You’ll receive a briefing before each opportunity, so you know exactly what to expect.
- For larger events or tasks, the scheduled ambassadors may be invited to attend paid Zoom training sessions.
- As you build experience and accumulate 50 hours, you’ll receive an official Student Ambassador Certificate to recognise your contribution.
