July Activities:

As we enter the last few weeks of trimester 3, I’m pleased to announce the July Careers workshops for Level 5 Psychology modules Essential Issues in Psychology, History and Individual Differences and Advanced Social and Developmental Psychology. These sessions will build upon previous discussions and encouraging feedback from students surrounding pathways to securing work experience and best practice for researching and approaching the right employers.

A big thank you to all students and academic staff that have contributed so far to enhancing employability skills and awareness of industry expectations. The participation and insights drawn from the sessions have been valuable and informative for Careers provision moving forward.

Exciting News:

Get ready for the Republic https://republic.london/ Careers Fair on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 November 2026. This promises to be an unmissable event providing you as undergraduates and graduates-to-be with direct access to a range of employers/industry contacts and professional networking opportunities. Making these connections is crucial to enhancing your knowledge of industry expectations, skills and trends – in other words your commercial awareness.

Leading up to the Careers Fair, there will be a series of workshops to support and prepare you for meeting with employers ranging from CV and interview skills, LinkedIn profile building and presence, online careers research, developing and presenting your professional brand, networking and 'informational interviewing'.
