British Psychological Society (BPS) Accreditation

Our BSc Psychology and MSc (Conversion) Psychology programmes at UCLan London are now accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). This means you can gain Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC).

For our BSc programme, you will need a 2:2 to be eligible for GBC after graduation and must complete the final (empirical) research project.

For the MSc Conversion programme, this qualification confers GBC as the course is accredited by the BPS. This is a flexible route into psychology for students from non-traditional psychology backgrounds.
