Museum of the Mind Trip with Mental Health & Wellbeing Level 6 students
Our Mental Health & Wellbeing students at the University of Central Lancashire London had the opportunity to visit the Bethlem Museum of the Mind. The museum's mission is to document and celebrate the lives and achievements of individuals with mental health challenges while also raising awareness about the history of mental healthcare.
Formally opened by artist Grayson Perry in 2015, the museum houses an internationally acclaimed collection of art and creative works that shine a light on the experiences of those affected by mental health issues.
This visit provided invaluable insights for our students, complementing their current assignments and deepening their understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health care and treatment.
A big thank you to the museum and their Team for hosting us and providing an informative tour.
