'Pause & Reconnect' wellbeing event
As part of our support for Mental Health Awareness Week, we delivered a wellbeing event titled "Pause & Reconnect" – designed to offer staff and students a moment to slow down, decompress, and reconnect with themselves and each other.
Purpose & Benefits:
This event aims to promote emotional wellbeing, reduce stress, and encourage open dialogue around mental health in a calming, supportive environment.
Activities Included:
- A mindfulness creative practice to open the space
- A guided sound bath session to encourage relaxation and mental clarity
- A closing with tea and cake to allow for informal connection and reflection
We had a fantastic turnout, with 15 students completing feedback forms before leaving the event. The response was very positive as many students shared that they left feeling relaxed, happy, and recharged.
